CI/CD Transformation with AWS DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
Technology
What They Were Facing
DeployFast's engineering team of 85 developers was deploying to production only twice per month through a manual, error-prone release process. Each deployment required a 4-hour maintenance window, and one in five releases resulted in a production incident requiring emergency rollback. The lack of automated testing and infrastructure consistency was crippling the team's ability to ship features and respond to customer issues.

How We Solved It
AQBEE designed and implemented a comprehensive CI/CD pipeline using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild, with containerised applications deployed to ECS Fargate clusters. All infrastructure was codified using Terraform modules, ensuring environment consistency across development, staging, and production. Automated test suites were integrated at every pipeline stage — unit tests, integration tests, and canary deployments with automated rollback triggers. CloudWatch was configured with custom metrics, alarms, and dashboards for real-time deployment monitoring, and ECR provided secure container image management with vulnerability scanning.
The Impact
Deployment frequency increased from twice monthly to over 30 times per week, enabling rapid feature delivery and bug fixes.
Production incidents from deployments dropped by 95% through automated testing, canary deployments, and infrastructure consistency.
Emergency rollback time reduced from 45 minutes to under 9 minutes with automated rollback triggers and blue-green deployment strategies.
“We used to treat deployments like surgery — carefully scheduled, high risk, and everyone held their breath. Now our engineers deploy confidently 30+ times a week with zero drama. AQBEE's pipeline has completely changed our engineering culture. We ship faster, break less, and recover in minutes instead of hours.”
